The Hockey Club at Granite City High School is for students that have an interest in the sport of hockey. Any high school student may join. He/she does not have to be on a hockey team or be a hockey cheerleader to join the Hockey Club. The Hockey Club members attend a St. Louis Blues game annually and support the Granite City High School hockey teams. Hockey Club members also participate in the Homecoming Parade and have a pizza party at Christmas time.

There are two teams for Granite City High School hockey players. They are the Mississippi Valley Club Hockey Association and the Mid-States High School Club Hockey Association. Hockey is not sanctioned by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).
