Scholar bowl is basically team Jeopardy. There are five players on each team they answer about 20 questions a match. GCHS has three scholar teams Varsity, Junior Varisy, and Freshman.

Practices are on Tuesday and Thursday. The playing season is from December to Febuary with sectionals in Febuary. Clay Moran and Hannah Schmidt are two of the captains. Clay Moran, Lucas Geisler, Dominic Cilano, Nathan Bailey, Ryan Hurt, Alex Dilday, and Matt Otten are the varsity members for 2008 - 2009.
