	Students learn how to balance life's competing priorities and how to develop and maintain strong healthy relationships in Consumer and Family Science classes. Students learn how to define what they value and how to make life decisions based upon these decisions. They learn how to take care of their mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual well being. In order to live healthy and satisfying lives, it is important to develop these vital skills. All courses completed at Granite City High School apply either towards practical arts or general elective credit for graduation requirements.
