As Granite City Community Unit School District #9 continues to prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, we would like to share some recent updates, including new start and end times:

• Enrollment and registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins on June 2, 2025
• The first day of student attendance (K-12) is set for Thursday, August 14, 2025

• All Buildings (except Lake) will have a one-hour early dismissal on Wednesdays
• Grigsby/Prather PreK PM Session on Wednesday is 12:30 - 2 PM
