Dear GCSD9 Families and Staff,

The Granite City Community Unit School District #9 Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the Pre-K through 6th Grade Reconfiguration Model at the December 10, 2024 Board Meeting. 

This will become effective at the start of the 2025-26 school year on August 14, 2025.

Granite City High School: 9th-12th grade (7:40 am-2:25 pm)
Coolidge Junior High School: 7th & 8th Grade (7:30 am-2:15 pm)
Grigsby Elementary School: PreK-6th grade

• 8:50 am-3:05 pm (KG-6th)
• 9:05 am-11:35 am (Pre-K - AM)
• 12:50 pm-3:20 pm (Pre-K - PM)

Prather Elementary School: PreK-6th grade

• 8:50 am-3:05 pm (KG-6th)
• 9:05 am-11:35 am (Pre-K - AM)
• 12:50 pm-3:20 pm (Pre-K - PM)

Frohardt Elementary School: KG-6th grade (8:50 am-3:05 pm)
Maryville Elementary School: KG-6th grade (8:50 am-3:05 pm)

La Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar #9 de la Unidad Comunitaria de Granite City votó por unanimidad para aprobar el Modelo de Reconfiguración de Pre-Kinder al 6to grado en la reunión de la Junta del 10 de diciembre de 2024.
