Reunification

In the event of a crisis that requires the temporary evacuation of a building, Granite City Community Unit School District #9 has a designated reunification point.​​​​ Should a crisis event occur, the school will be inaccessible except to first responders (police, firefighters, EMS, etc.). To reunite with your child as soon as possible, a reunification point is established off site and away from the impacted site to aid in reuniting students with their families. In such an event, appropriate reunification information will be communicated to parents as quickly as possible via Skyward, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
